Hatha Yoga Certified Instructor || Yoga Alliance International 200 HRS

Introducing myself as a dedicated, passionate yoga practitioner, aiming to share my current knowledge and expand it. I have been practising intensively and with full commitment for four years in Raja yoga, both traditional Hatha and Kundalini yoga systems, by the Indian teacher yogi Anil in the Netherlands. Since then, I continued my practice for the following six years and I enriched my knowledge with other styles of yoga, as Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin yoga. I am an old student of Vipassana Meditation, an art of living as taught in India more than 2500 years ago as a universal remedy for universal ills. This practice is inspired from those systems.

I am a certified Hatha and Iyengar yoga instructor by the Yoga Alliance International, by Indian teachers.  I teach yoga since 2015 in groups and to individuals to all levels, in the Netherlands and in Greece. My studies in IT and and my previous work experience with computers, for more than 12 years,  had a great impact in my life. The way I see spirituality and yoga has also a scientific aspect. Some injuries helped me to bring a higher body awareness and eventually helped me to find a deeper balance. I finally committed myself into a dedicated yogic lifestyle, which path I am determined to follow.

My classes are challenging physically and mentally, ending with deep relaxation and music, include demonstration and verbal analysis of poses. I aim to bring a unique sense of empowerment to each of my classes. Every session is adjustable and changeable according to the practitioners needs. The main focus is on the awareness of the breathing and the observation of the mind, reaching a meditative state. Pranayama or breathing techniques are part of each session. Meditation is also part of this practice. There are no levels, a beginner practitioner would learn, a more advanced would go deeper.

Yoga is a path of self-awareness, self-inquiry. It is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines to cultivate a pure mind, pure intellect, pure body and pure love, aiming to bring union of the body, mind, soul and the Supreme Soul. The aim is to find supreme happiness and unconditional love. This is what I have in my heart and I desire to share with others. To connect. To love.

We practice Yoga for happiness.

May all beings be blessed with peace, love and joy
